can someone recommend a decent european news source to read?

Something with a resonably neutral to anti-US bias to global politics?

Try the good old beeb www.bbc.co.uk and the guardian www.guardian.co.uk, top it up with the economist www.economist.com. If you think French try www.rue89.com and in German www.nzz.ch.
While you are at it, why would you keep to European medias? Africa and Asia also have their fair share of interesting stuff (come to think of it, Australasia and the Middle East too.....)in English (in case you are not fluent in Parsi....
